On the night of January 18, 1971, Christine Marie Eastin left her home around 10:00 p.m. to drive to Charlie’s Car Wash on Mission Boulevard in Hayward. She planned to pick up her friend at the local Jack in the Box restaurant afterward—but she never made it.
🚗 Her vehicle was later found abandoned at the car wash (25400 Mission Blvd), with her purse locked inside. Mysteriously, papers from the car were scattered outside the driver’s door, but there was no sign of Christine.
👗 Last seen wearing:
Black/brown leather coat
Black boots
Blue slacks
Red, white, & blue pinstriped tunic
Bluish gold scarf
